EXX, Inc. is a diversified holding company for businesses it owns and operates as investments on behalf of the company's shareholders.  EXX (pronounced “X”) specializes in unique investment situations involving businesses that are undervalued, out of favor, and/or in need of financial or operational restructuring.

EXX is currently seeking investment opportunities matching the following general criteria:

Transaction Size:           $2 to $10 million in equity or debt from EXX, with additional amounts available from investment partners

Structure:                      Acquisition of stock, assets, bank debt, bonds and/or other securities, debtor-in-possession financing

Industry:                       No specific preference.  EXX does not invest in start-ups, high technology or real estate.

Geography:                   Continental United States

EXX’s management has completed a significant number of investments since assuming control of the company’s predecessor in 1984.  EXX is able to respond quickly to often complex investment opportunities and is able to close transactions with expediency.  Principals and intermediaries are welcome to contact us with investment proposals.
